I think we need some provincial regulations. The issue that I did hear from the fire chiefs, because I asked this at the UBCM as well as FCM, is people are buying them off Amazon. So the bands haven't been that effective because that's what's happening. So an issue, but I do agree that we should have regulations because the harder it is to do it.
And I think that needs to start the process at the province. We can have another motion getting more reports.

And I raised this issue because, uh, notwithstanding what Councillor Manley says about BICS and everything else. There was a very strong move by provincial health on this whole matter. And this is not complex. I don't use drugs. So I'm not familiar with everything that's involved in this. But I think if we're going to start dipping into this, uh, this late in the year, so to speak, I'd like to have a little more information because I'm, I'm not. I don't see this as immediately effective necessarily. Um, the staffing involved, all of those things. I have a lot of questions. And I would prefer more debate on it. So I'd happily support a deferral on this.
