Thank you worship through you. I think Council knows that I have a strong aversion to motions on the fly. Um, but I'll tell you this. I have a stronger aversion to what is happening in our downtown and the social disorder, which is affecting so many of our families and their Children. . And As you've pointed out. Very reasonably. Mr Cooper. There are many things that are not within our control or mandate. But there are certain steps that we can look at taking to help alleviate the situation so I will support Councilor Brown's motion. I think our systems planning organization is the route to go to look for short term at least solutions to the situation that you are facing and your Children are facing, , which is Absolutely unacceptable, so I will support it.

Paul Manly Yes

Thank you worship. I will support this as well. And I think that now is the time to start planning for Next year, so that we're not in the position that we were in last year where we're up against the wall and and trying to decide where warming centers are going well, , the snow is flying.

Leonard Krog Yes

But I am entirely in counselor Thorpe's camp around motions, so to speak, as we say on the fly somewhat unkindly, But I regard this as the reflection of I suspect what will be the will of council and it's a common sense approach. I would love to think that all of these issues will be solved. . By the fall. It's not going to happen, and I don't say that with any with any joy. This is 30 40 years of failed social policy and the opioid crisis and everything else mounted together. . But you know what public safety and ensuring the safety of our citizens as best we can as a job that falls to us who fought pay for the policing. Ah, the solutions to the ongoing causes of this social disorder on our streets fall to the senior levels of government as you respectfully recognizing your comments tonight, , so I'll happily support this motion.
