Thorpe. Then councilor Eastmeer. Thanks, your worship through you. I'm in favor of taking that relatively small amount of money and simply splitting it between. The other two organizations. And beyond that, if I may, I would like to just express my thanks to staff. The other grant applications have very clear criteria. They're vetted carefully by staff in a nonpartisan manner. It's not a political decision at all, and there is accountability involved with this process.

Hilary Eastmure Yes

I note that the application from Nanaimo science and sustainability societies only for $829 and that's to allow for inkind facility rental funding to host free science in the park. Programs, which I think those programs are extremely valuable. That. They're completely accessible and free and happening in our city park. So my preference would be. To add. Them for the complete cost of the $829 and then to split the remaining funds between the other two. I think that rounds it out nicely. And we still support three programs.

Thank you. I was curious about the Nimblequestrian association. They've requested $20,000, which is far more. Than I think the grant application says is available. But it's such a small portion. Of this grant, are they going to be able to do what they need to do with this?

Small chunk of money. Through your worship to Councilor Manley. So the maximum in grant that they could get under. This is $5,000 anyway, and it is my understanding that staff have talked to them. And that they could proceed with their project. With the reduced amount of funding. They've got access to funds elsewhere? I guess so, yes. Okay.

Yeah, I find it interesting. When it's clear that the amount available is far less than people are asking for.
