That Council direct Staff to include draft policy as part of the upcoming City Plan review to encourage the distribution of new supportive housing projects through the community.
Thank you. This is I believe in response to the concentration of services in the South End and just some real deep concern I'm healing hearing from that community. We, we do I think have some kind of loose policy around town distribution but those policies are not embedded in city plan. We're about to do an update on city plan. I would like to ensure that when those updates come forward that this policy is embedded in there. I believe that's coming in the summer and I also want to kind of temper expectations even with this policy in place. Of course it's going to be up to the people sitting at this table to say yay or nay to any kind of property but proposals. But I think it provides a little bit of support and assurance to the South End in particular that we will do our best to not concentrate these services.
