Thank you, Your Worship. Excellent. Excellent document. Thank you very much and good presentation. I really appreciated it. However, I won't be voting in favor of this, Your Worship. I think one of the, when we talk about the options as it's listed, you know, establishing a financing program will likely take considerable staff time and resources. And I just don't feel that at this time we could spend any more money on something that definitely I would like to take a look at it again even on a yearly basis to see where we are. But at this point our taxes are so high I just don't see the interest in this at this time.

I just want to say that we've set very clear goals about reducing our greenhouse gas emissions. The emissions from our current building stock is an important area to need to address and I think this program directly addresses that. and it's a fair and equitable way to support community members in retrofitting their homes. So I'm pleased to support this. Thank you.

Yes

asked
clean bc in in their plan they do have a pace program that they're going to work on developing
City staff answered
is that correct uh yes the pace um legislation was part of the clean bc plan um and it just any update on the progress of that piece of legislation. And if I may follow up on just on the cost, I think we will probably be heavily relying on grant through the Federation of Canadian Municipalities. And we are so unlikely to actually rely on any taxation for a program like this.
