Before, when motions like this come to us through letters. I want to know more about what the organization is going to do with our funding. It feels a little. Like. We're giving money out without having all of the information at hand. And yes, we did. Receive two letters. They didn't answer all of my questions. I'd like to have Joan Miller come and answer the questions, and I'd feel much more secure about granting the request.

Ian Thorpe Yes

And thank you, Councilor Prin, because I tend to share your thoughts on this. And likely. The bottom line is I would be supportive, but I feel I also need more information. We did receive a letter from the CAO of the tourism board, but the board itself, at tourism has not discussed this. So I don't know if there's an opportunity for that to happen and similar. With the prosperity corporation. I know we received a letter from their Cao, but I don't. Know if that has been discussed at their board for a decision of support. I would like to know. More about where the money goes, how it is spent. How much is put towards staff? What staff there is, what the role of the directors are on. Infilm. And I think we all agree that. Film productions bring economic benefit to our area. But what exactly is the role of infilm in facilitating. Those companies coming here, what did they do? So to me, there's unanswered questions that I would really appreciate getting the answers to so I could feel more confident in supporting this request. And if that happens at a finance audit committee.

Leonard Krog No

Because I think it's inappropriate necessarily. It's just that having had some experience on this council and being familiar with Infilm's work over many years. I'm more than comfortable in supporting. The application for the monies that they've requested tonight, and I'll leave it.
