eastmeer. You're on. Just recalling our discussion, there was an option to fund it at 92 or 93%. And the option that we chose at the time was to fund it at 95%. And my preference at this point now would be to fund it at 92%. Thank you. So
this table, I've heard. But this year is going to be a tough year. And it's used to justify these types of decisions. And then next year comes. And hey, I don't like. The total magnitude here. Let's do some more of that. And. Essentially, just. Taking from Peter to pay Paul, and so I won't be supporting it. Thank
bit of clarification because I heard councilor Eastmere's motion, which amounted to option two in our original committee discussions, which would be budgeting at 92%. For this coming year and then back to 95% for 2025. Councilor Armstrong was suggesting what was option number One, which was 93% for this coming year, and then back to 95%. So. We're still debating councilor Eastmeir's motion. I'm going to support that as I did at committee level. I don't see that this is pushing out pain to the future. This is dealing with just the coming year and realistically. I don't recall a time when we have needed to budget at 95% for our CMP. The only benefit. Of that would be to accumulate some money to put into a reserve. I would prefer to save some taxpayers some pain, even if it's a little bit for this year. And then we re examine again next year so I will support it.
