Seconded councilor Hemmens discussion. Thanks, your worship. Trying to sneak in. Probably the most mundane notice of motion. For the year here at our last meeting. But essentially these are two policies that have been adopted. By council. The first, the governance protocol policy. Was, I think, adopted in a time with intentions that aren't fully articulated within the policy. In particular. There's two aspects of it that I think are problematic, but also they're simply not practiced. And this is one that I've wanted to remove for some time. The first was this conceived portfolio system that essentially, I would say, was blurring the lines properly. Between governance and operations. And sticking council. Into attempting to stick council too far. Into. The proper business of staff. The second intention of the policy is, I think it was really meant to put limits on the powers of the mayor with respect to fulfilling his or her duties as out there in the community. And so I think for those reasons, to just simply be removed, but I think secondary to that, and probably just in practice. It's never been followed by counsel since, and rightfully so. The second one. Is the amendments. Sorry. It's a policy for achievements by individuals. After talking with staff. It's just like an outdated policy
