Thwart if it's just worded wrong. All right, direct. A direct staff can people. Hear me? Direct staff to proceed with detailed design and construction costs for option c. One of the loud and park. Development project as outlined in the November 19, 2025 report to council and develop an engagement plan. B Direct staff to update the 2010 Loudon park improvement plan to include text and images of the expounded park area and the new associated site layout diagram as outlined in the 2025 November 19 report to Council C allocate 1.3 million in 2028 of the 2026 to 30 provisional. Financial plan to the Loudoun Park Improvements project for non amenity building related park improvements as outlined in the 2025 November 19 report to council, funded by 800,000 from the strategic Infrastructure Reserve fund and 500,000 from the General Capital Reserve. And finally, d direct. Staff to prepare a plan for future phasing of non amenity building related park improvements. To include landscaping, picnic shelter, children's play area and equipment and interpretive signage and other elements outlined in the 2025 November 19 report to council. Sorry for the length and if I get a second or I'll speak briefly to. It. Thank you very much, Councilor Thorpe. Councilor Prince. Seconds. Thank you, your worship. I'm really pleased to see the loud and project move ahead, and I think there was a couple of gaps in our earlier motions when we discussed this project, and I feel that this. Motion relates to those, specifically the park improvements and the engagement process. And basically transparency of how this project develops. So there is some additional cost involved, which I recognize. But I think it's an important aspect of the overall park improvement plan that we intended. For loud, so I hope it'll get support.

Janice Perrino Yes

Councilor Perino. Thank you, you, worship. And just a couple of added comments. I think it's important to engage the public wherever, and I certainly celebrate that, that we continue to connect with them, to make sure that we're on the right track, but what I like about this particular option is. That allocating the 1.3 in the 2028 of the 2020. Six to 2030 provisional financial plan is the best way to move this forward. Getting it done in the future. So it's a good plan. It's forward thinking. And it's finally getting the work done, so I'm hoping we vote in favor. Of it. Thank you very much.

To the community. That said, I do have concerns with committing the full funding at this stage. I think that we still need to. Get a more detailed design. And given the magnitude of investment, I mean, there's going to be some substantial community amenity space in this area, but it is blended with more restricted access. Club space although it'll be benefiting the community. That do? Use it. But I do think. That there is room to figure out. And increase expectation on a fundraising contribution to it. I think the original fundraising contribution was in the mid 2000s was $100,000 when the project was a million dollars. And now the project is substantially more. And the contribution is still the same. And so I think that if we. Don't think there's a need to commit all this funding at this time, and. Spend a bit more time figuring out different avenues for the funds.
