Motion
That Council approve the submission of the joint application with Snuneymuxw First Nation to the UBC M Disaster Risk Reduction - Climate Adaptation Fund Category 1 stream for a Hazard Risk and Vulnerability Assessment and Risk Mapping project, and that Council commits to City staff providing overall grant management.

Purpose
To provide Council with information on the UBCM Disaster Risk Reduction-Climate Adaptation Fund and obtain a Council resolution to support the application submitted for a Hazard Risk and Vulnerability Assessment and Risk Mapping project under this program stream.

That the Finance and Audit Committee recommend Council approves the submission of the joint application with Snuneymuxw First Nation to the UBCM Disaster Risk Reduction-Climate Adaptation Fund Category 1 stream for a Hazard Risk and Vulnerability Assessment and Risk Mapping project, and that Council commits to City staff providing overall grant management.
