1. Direct Staff to work with the Old City Quarter Association to establish a business improvement area for a term of five years starting in 2027; and 2. Undertake the establishment of the Old City Quarter Business Association Business Improvement Area as a Council initiative.
Oh, Councillor Thor, sorry. Thank you, your worship. If I may quickly threw you, thank you very much, Mr. Rosenthal for being here tonight. Old City Quarter is obviously a very unique area in our city. And, uh, I'm pleased that things are looking up and, uh, that you are full of optimism about the area. And that's great. I share that. My question is simply this. Have you done much work collaborating with tourism Nanaima? Yes. Excellent. Could you elaborate a little bit? Are they fully aware of all of your programs and offerings in the Old City Quarter so that we can promote it as much as possible?
Yes. We have collantero attends all of our, uh, board meetings. Um, and we work on a lot of initiatives with them, uh, share information. Um, we've met like with the, when the cruise ships were coming in, uh, we were collaboratively to market to that. We have worked with tourism and IMO on combined advertising campaigns. Yeah, they're very, very, uh, communicative with us. And we were great together.
